We met at Heritage Park by the Veterans Memorial to begin our evening meeting.  Here we dedicated a tree in memory of Mildred Brown, beloved wife of member Bill Brown.
This evening we honored Mildred Brown with a plaque dedicated to her at one of the trees that the Canton Rotary Club planted in Heritage Park this past year.  The tree is near the Veterans' Memorial which is special to World War II Veteran Bill Brown.  Mildred Brown, affectionately known as Millie, passed away on February 25, 2018, at the age of 95.  Bill and Millie enjoyed 75 years of marriage together.  Our Club was indeed privileged to have known Millie.
After the ceremony, we adjourned to L A Bistro where we enjoyed dinner and fellowship.  We were joined by member Bill Brown and two of his daughters.  Former member Roger Haslick and wife Maureen also joined us to honor Millie.
